Dear Friends, Thank you to all of you for recognizing the importance of music education in schools. Your support makes it possible for the Gulf Coast Steinway Society to expand its music education programs and serve more than 30,000 children in the Gulf Coast areas each year! Everyone is sorely aware of the escalating cuts in funding for public education over the last few years. Most instrumental music classes and music education programs have been deleted from public school curricula; especially at the elementary school level.  As music programs have been cut from the states of Alabama, Florida, & Mississippi, the Gulf Coast Steinway Society has grown its programs to help fill the gaps. Since its establishment in 2014, The Gulf Coast Steinway Society has been true to its mission to help develop and support the highest quality music programs as possible for students in our region.  As President and a Founder of the Gulf Coast Steinway Society, along with all the members, donors, and volunteers, I appeal to you to continue supporting our mission. Though the Gulf Coast Steinway Society is permitted to use the Steinway name and logo, it receives no funding from Steinway and Sons. Music feeds the very soul and the Gulf Coast Steinway Society programs provide inspiration and education to thousands of children who otherwise have no access to a quality music education.
