Claiborne Davis is a sophomore
at The University of Alabama
double majoring in Piano
Performance and
Mathematics. He has won
multiple competitions in
Alabama. In addition to solo
work, he enjoys collaborating with other musicians
through accompaniment and ensemble music.
Henry Hewitt is a native of
Mobile, Alabama. He began
learning piano at the age of
6 and currently studies with
Robert Holm. Henry has a
passion for the compositions
of Franz Liszt and the
performances of Yunchan Lim. Outside of music,
Henry enjoys video games and serving his church.
Noah Keyes is an aspiring
pianist from St. Petersburg,
Florida. Having won several
competitions, he has had
the opportunity to perform
both as a soloist and a
collaborator across the United
States and Europe. He is currently a senior
studying with Read Gainsford at Florida State
University.
Parker Wolf (12 years old)
started piano lessons at age
4. He is the winner of the
2021 Florida State Concerto
Competition, 2021-2022
Charleston International
Competition, and the AADGT
International Festival which led to his Carnegie Hall
debut in 2022. His piano teacher is Daniel Nagy.
Paul Nguyen is a nave of
Portland, Oregon. He has
won many scholarships and
awards, including the Piano
Santa Foundation’s Grand
Scholarship, the OMTA
Portland District Instrumental, and
the OMTA Lillian Pebone scholarships. Today, Paul
is a freshman at the University of South Alabama
studying chemical engineering and piano.
Anastasia Wade began playing
piano at 3 ½ years of age.
She is 9 years old and is
currently a student at Minds
on Music. Anastasia has
performed at many venues in
the Gulf Breeze/Pensacola Florida
area. She gives God all the glory for her talent.
Anna Claire Elliott is a junior
from Etowah County, Alabama.
She began playing piano at
the age of six. After
graduation, she plans to
pursue a degree and career
using her talent. Anna Claire has
received numerous awards from competitions and
has performed with a marching, jazz and concert
band.
Autumn Kim, 14, is freshman in
high school. From a very
young age, she has
displayed a deep passion for
playing the piano, and began
receiving formal lessons at the
age of 6. In addition to her
musical pursuits, Autumn also finds great
enjoyment in the arts of painting and sketching.
Becca Harrison plays the piano.
At 14, she received the Vero
Beach Opera Piano
Scholarship, allowing her to
study with Dr. Marcos Flores
for four years. She is currently
an incoming fourth year student
pursuing a B.M. in music performance under the
guidance of Dr. David Kalhous.
Brandon Shin is 13 years old.
He began his piano studies
with Tatiana Kasman at age
6. Brandon has been an
annual winner of AMTA state
auditions in piano solo and
concerto categories. In 2018,
Brandon received first prize at the regional
Steinway Piano Competition. In 2019, he won the
BMTA Young Artist Piano Competition. Brandon
regularly participates in the polyphonic music
festival “Bach and Friends” at the University of
Alabama at Birmingham and performs in local
BMMF student recitals. He is a member of school
math team, robotic team and tennis team. Also, he
serves as president of SGA in school.
Born in Mississippi, DaTong
(TongTong) Liu began his
piano study at the age of
seven. At age ten, TongTong
won First Prize in the Betty
White Competition. In 2022,
he received ABRSM Piano
Performance Exam Grade 8 Certificate with
Distinction and won Honorable Mention (Fourth
Place) at the Georgia State Level of MTNA
Competition. In 2023, TongTong won First Prize in
the High School Lower Category at the Gulf Coast
Steinway 8th Piano Competition. Passionate about
piano and chamber music, TongTong hopes his
playing will touch the hearts of many.
Ethan Kueck is a senior at
Spanish Fort High School and
an active member of his
school’s band. He started
piano at age 10 and has
received awards in several
music competitions. Ethan will be
attending University in the upcoming fall to obtain
a degree in music performance.
Joseph Ensminger is a junior
mechanical engineering major
at Pensacola Christian
College. When not working
on his studies or writing
software on his laptop, he loves
playing the piano. He especially
loves piano performance, where he can inspire
others with the wonderful music he is learning.
9-year-old Lynn Kim of
Montgomery, AL began
playing piano at age 5 under
the instruction of her teacher,
Aeri Moon. With a natural
passion for music, Lynn quickly
excelled in her skills, winning
multiple local and state competitions, as well as
earning recognition at the AMTA and the Helen
Boykin Festival.
Michael Ding, 10, is a fifth
grade student from Vestavia
Hills, Alabama. He studies
piano with Tatiana Kasman
and especially enjoys music by
J. S. Bach. He has received top
awards in numerous local and state
piano competitions. Michael’s interests also include
math, chess, and tennis.
Nil Demirag is a sophomore
from Gulf Breeze High. She’s
from Istanbul, Turkey, and
has been living in the U.S.
for the past 4 years. Outside
of piano, Nil is a student-
athlete. Also, a Women in STEM
ambassador. Her biggest dream and goal for the
future is to end the gender biases in STEM and
other fields of interest. She also wants to inspire
and empower people of all ages to music.
Rebecca Reed is a full-time
student who has pursued her
passion for music at the
University of Mobile, where
she studies Piano
Performance, Piano Pedagogy,
and Composition. She has
achieved finishing her undergraduate degree, and
will further pursue her Master’s in Piano
Performance under the mentorship of Dr. Kadisha
Onalbayeva.
Reena Chen, 16, is from
Montgomery, Alabama, and
began playing the piano at
age 5. She currently studies
with Dr. Ronald Shinn,
located in Birmingham,
Alabama. She has won multiple
awards on the district, state, national, and
international levels. She also enjoyed playing
tennis and competing for her high school.
Richard Chen grew up in
Montgomery Alabama, where
he started piano at the age
of 7. He has won multiple
piano awards and also
enjoys playing tennis as a
pastime.
Ruthie Sommer grew up in
Dothan, Alabama. Her
grandfather, John D. Reese
III, encouraged her to take
piano lessons at age five
from Andy Martin. After high
school, she joined the studio of
Kevin T. Chance at the University of Alabama,
where she is a freshman majoring in Piano
Performance.
