The Gulf Coast Steinway Society is a non-profit organization formed by Steinway Artist Dr. Kadisha Onalbayeva and Steinway and Sons NYC and other individuals united in their devotion to strive to promote fine music through education and piano performance. The Society is governed by a board of directors, who serve without compensation.  The purpose of the Society is to generate membership, donations, and fundraisers to further music education of young pianists along the Gulf Coast of Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida by offering the following: Scholarships Tuition Pianos to financially challenged students Pianos to public schools, colleges, and universities in need Musical events throughout the year at no charge: recitals, concerts, workshops, and master classes.

Registration is open for the 2016

piano & voice competition

2015 saw students from around the southeast compete in the first annual Gulf Coast Piano & Voice Competition.  Don’t miss the opportunity for prize money in this one-of-a-kind on the gulf coast competition for piano and voice students from grade 6 through college.  Information about format, eligibility, awards, repertoire, and online application can be found here.
